California Beach House Vacation

Last summer we went to Cali and stayed in a couple of different beach houses.  The boys flew out half way through our trip to join us. (their bosses aren't as nice as ours and they wouldn't let them take the extra vacation time)  We had so much fun!  Swayzi just LOVED the beach!

We had a BLAST!!!  Two weeks of pure relaxing heaven.  Thanks Mom and Dad for the great memories!!!  Love Ya!!!

Jason and Danielle's wedding (from August- yikes I'm behind)

 Jason and Dani's cake I made.  Turned out ok! and it didn't even get crushed on the drive from Spanish Fork to Layton!  Phew!!!

 She started way behind the ring bearer boys,

 but she sprinted down the aisle and knocked them out of her way.  

Yep, that sprinting blur is my crazy Swayzi.  Perhaps not the most reverent flower girl ever, but she sure is the cutest, and she had a lot of fun doing it!

 Swayzi wasn't sure what to think of the whole wedding ceremony thing.  And I think her daddy looks a little sad!  He's kind of a protective big bro, and I'm not sure he was ready for his baby sis to get married!

Christmas

So Christmas was awesome.  Swayzi loved santa, loved the tree, loved sledding, loved presents, and loved most of all the nativity set with the "jeeza baby" in the manger at my moms.   Her and Hadley got a personal visit from santa this year and they LOVED it!  

We went to Disneyland in November and had a BLAST!  Swayzi was so excited to see Minnie, but I think her favorite part was playing on the beach with her daddy.  SO SO FUN!!!

Swayz got a power wheels 4-wheeler from her uncle ralph and aunt Amanda.  She's still not too sure about riding it, but she sure looks cute in her helmet!  Hilly got her a tricycle and she likes to ride it in their living room singing "pedal pedal pedal pedal."  It's super cute and I can't wait until it warms up enough to take her outside and really teach her to ride.  My mom spoiled swayzi absolutely rotten.  It took a truckload and the back of my dad's suburban to bring all of her new toys home after Christmas.  Crazy!

Super overdue for an update!

Summer has been CrAzY  and I've been way to busy playing with my delicious Swayzi to even THINK about posting on my blog, so here comes a super long readers digest version of our summer!!!!!!

We started out our summer with an AWESOME date night at the Ben Folds concert at Deer Valley.  It was SO NICE to go out with my sweet hubby and be able to sit down and listen to an ENTIRE concert without worrying about our diva throwing toys at the people around us or chasing her up and down the aisles.  Thank you Mom for being the BEST babysitter EVAH!!!!

And what would the summer be without a trip to the Hogle zoo!

 After one rotation though, it was the coolest thing ever!

 Soo cool in fact, that it nearly took an almighty intervention to get her off of it once it stopped!

This tiger was looking at Swayzi like she was a super tasty snack.  I didn't really trust this little chain link fence standing between my deliciousness and a ferocious wild animal bent on eating her for dinner,

so we didn't stay for very long!!!

Chris is such a good daddy.  How many men wear wings and tutu's and have tea parties with their one year old girls by choice?  Swayzi is one lucky girl!!!  (And so is her mama!)

Heather took me to Lion King at the Capitol Theater in Salt Lake and it was SOOOOO fun!

This little baby cow was born 2 days before the state fair, and Swayzi LOVED her!  She kept trying to feed her hay and sawdust, and when she didn't want that, she tried to feed her out of her sippy cup. Super cute, although it is a little gross.
